Ayesha's mother got married at the age of 18. Her husband went to Dubai and married another woman, abandoning his first wife and their daughter.
The government crèche teacher guided Ayesha Begam to our IEA Trust, and the IEA Trust enrolled her in a private school, where she successfully earned a degree in BSc nursing.
Twelve days before her twelfth-grade results, her mother passed away due to kidney failure. However, she continued her studies and succeeded. She is now working at AIMS Hospitals, enjoying a good life and a good salary.
Jasmine's father was an alcoholic man who abandoned his wife and daughter. His wife, Subithra, and their daughter, Jasmine, lived with Subithra's parents, and Jasmine studied in a government school until the 3rd standard.
When she received a scholarship from our IEA Trust, she was enrolled in a private school, where she excelled and achieved a score of 591/600 in a public exam. Jasmine is the top student in her school and aspires to become a chartered accountant in the future.
This young boy's name is Dinesh, and he is 17 years old. He is an orphan and was living in his uncle's house. During his 8th standard, he ran away from his uncle's house and, with the help of the police, was found on the streets of Auroville in Pondicherry.
With the assistance of IEA Trust, he continued his studies and achieved good marks in the eleventh standard public exams. He is now the top student in his school.
Girija has been receiving assistance through the PARRAINAGES INDE sponsorship program for several years. In July 2023, she has completed her Bachelor's degree in Ophthalmology.
She has been selected by her college campus to undergo a three-month training program at an optical centre in New Delhi. If she enjoys this work, she can continue; if not, she can return to Pondicherry and work there.
